This is a beautiful tub with one major flaw. The finish is not smooth like other Kohler cast iron products that I have owned.
Instead the finish on the side and the top was scalloped. It was not smooth but it was bumpy. You can easily see it
and feel it. Other cast iron products are smooth but not this product. I had to send back two before I gave up and
purchased a tub from another vendor.

we bought for a remodel and this is great tub. The only thing is the shipping cost which drove up the price, but the tub is great. It's your basic tub design - rectangular. Cast iron is heavy, but worth it. You can really feel the difference. It's definitely sturdy and will in our bathroom for a long long time.
